For the second year in a row, the Heritage Transport Show and South East Bus Festival on Saturday 5th April 2025 saw record-breaking visitor numbers as the event continues to grow! This annual event at the Kent Showground is a celebration of vehicles through the ages! Boasting over 1000 vintage and classic cars, motorbikes, tractors, military, steam, stationary engines and buses from across the South East and beyond, the Heritage Transport Show is a fun day out for all the family.

Visitors took a step back in time to discover the history of vehicles through the unique exhibits on display and had the opportunity to browse a range of trade stands, auto memorabilia and our annual farmers’ market. Younger visitors enjoyed vintage fairground rides and free bus rides around the Showground on buses from all eras and were able to pause to take in the incredible tricks and stunts performed by the Kent Youth Trials young riders!

Also back for 2025, the Kent Farmers’ Market offered visitors the opportunity to discover local food, drink and crafts from Kentish producers and artisans. The market is run by the same organisers as Tonbridge and Aylesford Farmers’ Markets, with high quality traders from across the county.

New for 2025, visitors were wowed by the opportunity to take a private helicopter flight over the Kent Showground and surrounding countryside for a unique vantage point of the days festivities!

Benefitting from glorious April sunshine, the day was deemed a resounding success by organisers, the Kent County Agricultural Society, as well as visitors and exhibitors alike.

The Heritage Transport Show featuring the South East Bus Festival will return to the Kent Showground on Saturday 11th April 2026!
