Living Land is a FREE one-day event open to Kent primary school children in years 3 and 4. Now in its 22nd year, this successful event is aims to educate children in areas of farming, agriculture, the countryside, and healthy eating; and takes place in the beautiful landscape of the Kent Showground, Maidstone.
Living Land is organised by registered charity, the Kent County Agricultural Society, this year supported by the Rochester Bridge Trust. Bringing together businesses from across Kent to provide interactive and educational activities for the children to experience. Including the opportunity to touch live farm animals, watch live milking demonstrations, try Kent produce, and see many other educational and interactive displays.
Spaces for Living Land are limited and, due to the event’s popularity, attendance is by invite only. Schools that have not attended previously are prioritised in the selection process.
