This year we are extremely proud sponsors of the Shaun the Sheep in the Heart of Kent trail brought to you by the Heart of Kent Hospice and Wild in Art.

Shaun the Sheep in the Heart of Kent is an exciting free art trail that will boast 50 large individually decorated Shaun the Sheep sculptures placed around the parks, town centre and river walks in Maidstone and the surrounding areas. Each Shaun the Sheep sculpture will be designed and painted by local and national artists. There will be also a flock of little Shaun’s decorated by local schools and community groups.

The amazing illustrators and twin sisters behind our Shaun the Sheep ‘Best in Show’ are Rachael and Philippa! They work together as an illustration collective, specialising in illustration for children and are currently based in Derbyshire.

Although named Shaun in the Heart of Kent, Heart of Kent Hospice will be partnering with Wild in Art, who is the leading producer nationally and globally for spectacular art events, as well as partnering with the world-famous, award-winning studio based in Bristol Aardman, who are the creators of the cheeky and loveable character of Shaun the Sheep.

The Heart of Kent Hospice provides free, specialist care and support for adults living with terminal illness and their loved ones.  The trial will be in Maidstone and the surrounding areas from the 29th June to 30th August 2024.
